These masks will not only help you combat common rain-related skin problems, but also leave your skin rejuvenated and hydrated. Here are the details from the make-up, hair and skin care expert.

Cucumber Face Mask – Mix the extract of a small cucumber and a cup of oatmeal to make a paste. Mix a teaspoon of this paste with a teaspoon of yogurt (for oily skin) or milk malai (for dry skin). Apply on your face and rinse after 30 minutes.

Turmeric Facial Mask – This is a mask traditionally used for brides. Mix half a cup of besan (gram flour), a teaspoon each of turmeric and sandalwood powder. Add to it two spoonfuls of ghee or almond oil and some water to give it a paste like consistency. Apply this to your face and whole body; leave for 5-10 minutes and scrub it off with your palms and fingers.

Honey Facial Mask – Rinse your face with warm water to open up pores. Apply honey and rinse it off with warm water after half an hour. Follow up with a cold water splash to seal the pores.

Oily Skin Mask – Mix a tablespoon of brewer’s yeast with plain yogurt to make a thin paste. Apply it thoroughly to oil prone areas like chin, nose and forehead. Rinse with warm water after 15-20 minutes. Rinse again with cold water to close pores.

Banana Mask for wrinkled skin – Mash 1/4 ripe banana into pulp.
Apply evenly on face and rinse with cold water after 15-20 minutes. Rinse again using cold water to seal pores.

Avocado Facial Mask – Mash avocado meat and apply on face. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and rinse with warm water. Follow with a cold water splash.

Oatmeal Facial Mask – Apply a mix of a tablespoon of oatmeal, a tablespoon of baking soda and water. Rub it gently and rinse off with cold water after 10 minutes.

Multani Mitti (gypsum) Body Mask – Make a paste using multani mitti powder and water. Apply it to your whole body and hair. Take a bath after half an hour.

Grape Cleanser – Split 2-3 grapes into halves and rub them over face and neck. Rinse with cold water.

Banana Face Pack for Dry Skin – Make a paste using half cup of natural yogurt, a tablespoon of honey and 1/4 ripe banana. Apply this pack on face and neck; leave for 10 minutes and rinse.

Cucumber Face Pack for Smooth Skin – Grate a cucumber and extract its juice. Add a tablespoon of sugar to the juice and refrigerate. Apply the refreshing mix to your face everyday and rinse after 5 minutes to instantly refresh your skin.
